KB 940349 - Newer VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service) rollup hotfix released - with build dates of September 2007

One of the neatest technologies of Windows 2003 which has been adapted into other products, but also one of the most revised/problematic technologies has another hotfix rollup, available for download here. It looks like the KB article was last revised in November, and the hotfix has been updated to "version 3" on November 13th, 2007.

This fixes 7 previously undocumented problems, plus 'retires' the following KB hotfixes:
KB 931312, 940041, 940239, 940252, and 939989.

Hopefully they will just keep updating KB 940349 as the end-all/be-all VSS hotfix rollup destination.

Hotfix for DPM client

I would like to get this hotfix to fix the issue with Backup failure.
