Ever take desktop snapshots and then find them years later?
I have dug up old snapshots of my OS/2 installs from way back when, in the past.
In the spirit of that same adventure, here is what my desktop looks like as of tonight.
Who knows what it will look like in a year, but if you can't tell, I have one theme for computer usage - "drive it like you stole it". If you have 3GB of memory, you might as well put it to good use.
I have a history of being hard on systems and thankfully I have some solid ones lately. I've had some die a horrible death in smoke and flames.
Hey Aaron cool screenshot dude... Im always interested in wat tools other techs use would you be able to tell me what all your quickstart and taskbar icons are? Also im trying to work out whats going on with your screen shot I am guessing the following:
Your running on Vista. But how do you have the server manager icon are you running the RSAT tools? Do they include the Hyper-V Manager tools? Because I thought that was only available from the W2k8 install?
Also is it just me or does Win2k8 graphics look a bit rubbish on some icons? Like the network icon and the shutdown icon when you mouse over it looks terrible..Also if you change back to the classic start menu when you press start and it says "Windows Server 2008 Standard" its so ugly and pixilated! Could be my vmware tools but still looking into that one.
