Any idea if this will be a component of XP SP3? The Microsoft website doesn't specify.
I think you are right. It seems to be only available for Windows 2003 x86 and x64, and Windows XP x64. This makes sense, to a certain extent, because Windows XP x64 and Windows 2003 x64 share/shared the same kernel for the most part. I have a question into the XP SP3 group on whether or not it will trickle down to XP x86. I hope so, because that is 99% of my XP VMs.
Hello!
Inside the above hotfix the build of tcpip.sys is 4241 (5.2.3790.4241). But there is v2 of KB947775 with even newer build 4246 (5.2.3790.4246) Regards, Roman (1) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947775 (2) http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/network/TCP_Chimney.mspx |
