Exam 70-646 and 70-647 results are trickling in - check Prometric and Microsoft sites
I'm now an MCITP: W2K8 Enterprise Admin, and MCITP: W2K8 Server Admin.
Update: As you can see from the comments left on this entry, I was wrong on what these tests actually are. I forgot that there were tests I took in late 2007 that WERE the upgrade tests for MCSE 2003. These tests are specifically for the Microsoft Certified IT Pro designation for Windows 2008.

70-646 and 70-647 are not upgrade exams in any way. They're the regular MCITP exams.
The upgrade exams are 70-648 (for MCSA 2003) and 70-649 (for MCSE 2003).
MCSE 2003 need: 70-649 plus 70-620 plus one of the MCITP certs
MCSA 2003 need: 70-648 plus 70-646

I've thought about it a lot actually but the trick is getting funding to go in front of the board to get approval/go for the MCA. MCA in general is still pretty new in the field and not a lot of places know about it. It has definitely been on the short list of 'to-do' items in the future. I am always trying to figure out ways to better myself and that is one of them, I foresee.
