What are the tricks to installing sp3 with minimal ui prompts, no backup/no uninstall option?
I've got a bunch of VMs which don't need an uninstall option for sp3.
Answer my own question - the SP2 instruction work for SP3 - flags for no back, no prompt - you have to extract the I386 files from the install to get this to work.
\i386\update\update.exe /U /N Zing!
I *think* that's incorrect but I'm not sure. XPSP3 final RTM includes the HD Audio driver. It installed that when I installed SP3, earlier my slipstreamed XPSP2 install didn't recognize the sound card, it started working after installing SP3.
