Need to access hosted applications on Citrix from your Windows 7 desktop? Use the XenApp Web Plugin v11 .exe to avoid version checks!

This one should be pretty obvious to most people, but if you are in need of accessing remote hosted applications on your Citrix/XenApp farm with Windows 7, to avoid any potential version check errors inside the normal client .MSI, simply use the XenApp Web Plugin - Version 11.000 in .exe format. I didn't even have to run it in compatibility mode and it worked like a charm.

I have done what you said on my desktop PC and all is AOK. I am running into a problem on my lapton. I get a message saying client already exists and needs admin to upgrade. I have tried to strip registry of all citrix but still get message. I did have a problem in that unistall wouldn't work as citrix presnetation client was not listed in control panel. Any thoughts?
