I want this latest version from Cisco but after registering it wont allow me to obtain this simply informing me that i need to contact my account manager!
where can i get the 5.0.05 version, the 5.0.04 seemed not to work for me even after all the tricks that I found in this site
any help
you should have active smartnet subscription to be able to download this software.
i now have the latest version 5.0.05.0280 and its working fine no more blue screen but it did give me a mds error on installing, didnt give this on Vista.
So far Windows 7 is great so much better than vista!
The latest version on the Cisco site is still
vpnclient-win-msi-5.0.04.0300-k9.exe.
i've downloaded vpnclient-win-msi-5.0.05.0280-k9.exe some days ago. check the beta section.
Client 5.0.05.0280 still crashes with the NDIS.SYS blue screen for me under Win7 beta.
I have the Cisco 5.0.05.0280 client and it doesn't fix the issue on a freshly installation Windows 7 beta system (build 7000). I followed the steps that JoshP posted on this page (http://blog.tiensivu.com/aaron/archives/1817-How-to-prevent-Cisco-VPN-client-version-5.0.4.0300-installation-from-bluescreening-Windows-7-x32-Build-7000.html) and was able to get this working.
Hope this helps someone.
This newer version does not solve the problem.. I'm trying the other methods now.
