Might have discovered part of the reason OCS 2007 R2 won't work with Server 2008 R2

I know it is a work in progress but I believe that this hotfix will end up being a pre-req for installing on Server 2008 R2.

KB 975858 - An application or service that calls the InitializeSecurityContext function together with the ISC_REQ_EXTENDED_ERROR flag may encounter a TLS/SSL negotiation failure on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7

Specifically due to this section of the article:
For example, a Transport Layer Security (TLS) negotiation fails when Microsoft Office Communicator Server 2007 R2 is installed on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 R2. This problem causes some functions not to work in Office Communicator Server 2007 R2.

This was one if the issues I had when building
a new fe on r2. Constant cert errors with
the edge; same cert worked fine on rtm

Have you fixed the issue by installing the hotfix?
I'm having the same issue on Win2k8R2 EE-FE and Edge in one project. I have installed the hotfix on the FE and edge and still receive error event 36888, severe warning: 10, and internal error status of 1023.
I haven't tried all functions yet, though.
