I don't think your over reacting at all. I have one of these cribs and not only did i purchase it (in walmart) AFTER the first recall (not knowing of the recall) but when i looks at the envelope for the codes i needed there not even on it!!!! when we got the crib one of the drop down rail stoppers were broke and it took me an hr on the phone to get a new one just to have the wrong one sent to me!!! I don't want some RETRO fit kit i want a new crib this is ridiculous I'm having another baby what i planed on being able to use my crib for and now this!! Would like to tak to a human about this from the company not all these automated calls.
I AGREE THIS HAS BEEN RIDICLOUS, I BOUGHT A CRIB FOR MY BABY IN APRIL 2004 AND IN 2006 THE WOOD MATTRESS SUPPORT BEAM BROKE AND BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE THE MODEL NUMBER THEY WOULDNT DO ANYTHING THEN WHEN I HEARD THEY WERE BEING RECALLED I HAD THEM SEND ME A KIT FOR THE DROP DOWN SIDES BUT UNTILL TODAY 6 YRS LATER I NEVER HEARD THAT IT WAS RECALLED BECAUSE OF THE MATTRESS SUPPORT ALSO AND I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FOR MY SECOND CHILD AS WELL. NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.
