Funny story
here about John McCain taking a guy's MySpace template and using it without permission or credit, and hot-linking one of the main images off of the guy's server.
For those not familiar with hot-linking: When someone would go to McCain's MySpace site, they would be using the original author's hosting bandwidth without his permission. Not only is it frowned upon, it can cost a lot in bandwidth charges.
This could have ended up a lot worse than a funny joke and free press for a website. The image they used to replace the original is much more tame than some "replacements" I have seen.
