Velvet Revolver has a new album coming out. I hope isn't overproduced because rock and roll is a beast best served with minimal production and overdubs. If you can't just "plug and play", you shouldn't be on the stage.

By chance, our whole family is going to be in the Troy/Royal Oak area on the weekend of May 12th. I noticed that VR just happens to be playing at the Royal Oak Music Theatre that night. I missed out on seeing them on the last tour for way too many reasons, and I would have wore out my copy of Contraband if it hadn't been ripped to the computer the day I bought it.

I checked to see if there were any tickets left today. It must be my lucky day or this show in under advertised because I ended up getting Row A tickets!

I'm excited to say the least!

It is strange that we have 7 bottles that range with pictures of her from a year old to 5 years old.
We were just notified by e-mail about it from Jones Soda and we don't know what label she is going to be on yet, but it is all very exciting.

The new picture is from a time period just after she turned 3, while our new house was being built.

I checked the Target Inventory Backdoor Wii site this morning. There were Wii in stock at the Wyoming, Mi (52nd St in Grand Rapids) Target! That Target is all torn up due to remodeling so I lucked out by getting there at around 1pm and they still had a few in stock.

I commented to the guy at the counter "Unlike a lot of people, I'm actually going to go home with my daughters and play this console! I'm not ebaying it."

He was upset this morning a few people came in and bought a whole bunch per person just to resell. I also picked up Zelda: Twilight Princess because I've rented it a few times for our Gamecube and really liked what I saw.

We FINALLY have a Wii, and my 5 year old (Sabrina) bowls a lot better than I do so far.

He survived by 'playing dead' and the student that was on top of him bled enough onto him that it seemed as if it was his blood. He still had to get a bullet taken out of his skull later that evening.

Scary stuff.

Mitch Hedberg. I could always relate to this guy, quite a bit. I really liked his comedy. He wasn't "dirty" or vulgar. I think I first saw him perform on Letterman and kept wondering "Who is this guy? Why am I laughing so much?"

A very good article on Mitch here. It is a shame he couldn't keep it together. It is weird that he's been dead for 2 years already.

I remember listening to him on the Howard Stern show a few weeks before he died. Funny guy. I'm sure there are a ton of videos on You Tube.
