Annoyed with offers to upgrade your Windows Vista edition (Anytime Upgrade)? You can disable it!

Create a DWORD key named Disabled under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\WAU

WAU will most likely not exist under Policies, so you will have to create the WAU key before creating the DWORD key.
Set the Disabled key to a value of 1. Reboot and the Windows Anytime Upgrade offer goes away.
