I've been absent for a bit for various reasons, some good, some bad, but in the meantime, BDD Development 4 became Microsoft Deployment. It is at RC1 level now. You can read more about it here.

Multicast WDS support - sounds very Windows 2008-esque.

This download includes updated Group Policy Administrative Template files and Office Customization Tool OPA files for use with the 2007 Microsoft Office system programs; an \Admin folder with an updated Office Customization Tool; and ADMX and ADML versions of the 2007 Microsoft Office system Administrative Template files for Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Windows Server 2008.

A pretty cool rerelease for IE7 came out today, called the IE7 Installation and Availability update (IAU).

Installation and Availability Modifications to Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) include:
1. Expanded availability to Windows PC users - removed WGA validation requirement
2. The Menu bar will be turned on by default
3. For first time users, the first-run experience includes a new, easily accessible overview
4. For all users, the online Internet Explorer 7 tour has been updated to include how-to’s on great new features like tabbed browsing.
5. Microsoft has also included a new MSI installer for enterprises that simplifies deployment for customers. IT Administrators can tailor to their organization’s needs by using the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) and deploy the package to relevant units within their organization using e.g. Group Policies or Systems Management Server (SMS).

I've bolded the feature I am most excited about. It is great to see that functionality, finally.
