It seems this works without the MUI stuff and mstsc.exe can be started anywhere on the drive. Not just in System32. I tested this on Win2k3 tho.
I got the same results as you xAyiDe - works like a charm. In older builds this was apparently an issue, but it's fine now!

Something I just found out is that you don't need to put the MUI in a subfolder, just stick it in there directly and it seemed to work just fine.
It's a great guide.
That said, today you can install the Terminal Services 6.0 Client (ie Remote Desktop Connection) from Microsoft to achieve the same effect. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925876 |
